What happens across your testing run
Create an account, buy one credit and submit your app details from the dashboard. We coordinate the testing run from there.

day 9Before testing
Choose your tester cover
Select 12 testers for ₹249, 15 for ₹299 or 25 for ₹449 and pay securely through Razorpay. Your credit is added to your account after payment.
After payment
Send your app details
Add applime-testers@googlegroups.com under Google Groups on your track's Testers tab. Then use one credit to submit your app name, Testing URL, image and testing instructions in the dashboard.
Day 0
We check your track is set up correctly
We check that you have a closed track, a published release and a working opt-in link. An internal test or saved draft does not meet the closed-testing requirement.
Testing begins
Testers begin opting in
Real people open your opt-in link with their own Google accounts and install from the Play Store on their own Android devices. Your tester target depends on the credit you selected.
Day 1
The clock starts
Your 14 days are counted from the moment the twelfth tester opts in, not from when you created the track. Play Console shows the count on the closed testing page.
During the run
Daily app testing continues
Keep the closed track live, review feedback and publish fixes when needed. A replacement tester needs their own continuous opt-in period, so adding someone late can extend eligibility.
Day 14
Check eligibility
Check that Play Console confirms at least 12 testers have completed the continuous period. Once eligible, you can prepare your production-access application.
Plan window
Finish the run, then apply
Basic runs for 14 days, Standard for 16 and Premium for 21. Standard and Premium include production-access form answers. Every plan includes a full refund or free retesting if production access is rejected after your completed test.
What we need from you
- Your app name, as it appears in Play Console
- Your Testing URL
- Testing instructions, if needed
- Your app image
Before submitting, add applime-testers@googlegroups.com under Google Groups on your track's Testers tab. We identify the package name from your URL and never ask for your Play Console password.
What you must not do
- Remove testers from the track
- Halt the rollout or unpublish the release
- Delete or recreate the closed track
- Apply for production access before day 14 is complete
Shipping updates to the closed track during the run is fine and does not reset anything. Taking the track down is what breaks continuity.

Premium testing starts within 30 minutes after we receive a working closed-testing link. Your required testing period is counted from when the minimum tester target is active, not from when you created the track.
