Privacy policy

This policy explains what Applime collects when you use applime.io, why, and what we do with it. We collect as little as the service allows.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your app name and package name
- Your closed testing opt-in link
- Your email address
- Your WhatsApp number
We also receive information you choose to include in support messages. We do not ask for your Google or Play Console password.
When you pay
Razorpay processes payments through its secure checkout. We share your name and email to prefill checkout, and an account reference and selected plan to match your payment to your credit. We keep the payment reference, amount and confirmation for your order. We do not receive or store your card number, CVV or payment PIN.
When you message us
WhatsApp messages and emails are held for as long as needed to run your order and handle any later refund or support request.
When you use this website
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used and where it can be improved. It records anonymous activity such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, FAQs opened, plans selected, browser and device information, and technical errors. If session replay is enabled, it can also recreate how a visitor moved through the public pages. Form and input values are masked, and console logs are not recorded.
We do not send your name, email address, WhatsApp number, payment details, support messages, or order form entries to PostHog. We do not create PostHog person profiles or use this information for advertising.
Why we collect it
- To run your test. The opt-in link and package name are how testers reach your app.
- To contact you. WhatsApp for the run, email for receipts.
- To meet legal and tax obligations. Transaction records are retained as Indian law requires.
- To improve the website. Anonymous analytics help us find confusing pages, broken interactions, and technical errors.
Who we share it with
- Razorpay, the payment provider used for your transaction, when needed to process a payment or refund.
- Our testers, who receive your app name and opt-in link only. They do not receive your email address or phone number.
- Vercel, which hosts this site and processes standard server request logs.
- PostHog, which processes anonymous website analytics and, when enabled, masked session replays and error reports.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
External links and AI summaries
Contact buttons open WhatsApp or your email app. The optional AI summary buttons open the provider you choose and pass the public page URL and a summary prompt. The Gemini button copies that prompt for you to paste. These services handle your use under their own privacy policies. No support conversation or order details are included in the website’s AI summary prompt.
How long we keep it
Order details are retained for the duration of your test plus 12 months, so we can handle disputes and re-runs. Financial records are retained for as long as tax law requires. After that, records are deleted.
Analytics and browser storage
PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in your browser’s local storage so visits can be measured over time. We configure PostHog not to create person profiles, and the site respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. Any payment service used outside this website may apply its own privacy and cookie policy.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hi@applime.io and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests are honoured except where we must keep records for tax or legal reasons.
Children
This service is for app developers and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No payment credentials are entered on this website. Order details are held in our support channels and, where applicable, the payment provider’s systems.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, for active orders, tell you directly.
