Privacy policy

This policy explains what Appline collects when you use appline.io, why, and what we do with it. We collect as little as the service allows.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your app name and package name
- Your closed testing opt-in link
- Your email address
- Your WhatsApp number
That is the complete list. We do not ask for, and will never ask for, your Google or Play Console password.
When you pay
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or banking details go directly to Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us. We receive a payment reference, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded.
When you message us
WhatsApp messages and emails are held for as long as needed to run your order and handle any later refund or support request.
Why we collect it
- To run your test. The opt-in link and package name are how testers reach your app.
- To contact you. WhatsApp for the run, email for receipts.
- To meet legal and tax obligations. Transaction records are retained as Indian law requires.
Who we share it with
- Razorpay, our payment processor, for payments and refunds.
- Our testers, who receive your app name and opt-in link only. They do not receive your email address or phone number.
- Vercel, which hosts this site and processes standard server request logs.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order details are retained for the duration of your test plus 12 months, so we can handle disputes and re-runs. Financial records are retained for as long as tax law requires. After that, records are deleted.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Razorpay’s checkout sets cookies necessary to process your payment when it opens. If we later add analytics, this section will be updated before it goes live.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@appline.io and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests are honoured except where we must keep records for tax or legal reasons.
Children
This service is for app developers and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payment credentials never touch our servers. Order details are held in our payment processor’s systems and in our support channels, both access-controlled.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, for active orders, tell you directly.

Note for launch: this policy describes the architecture as built. If you add analytics, a CRM, an email tool or a database, update it before those go live, and have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer.
