Terms and conditions

Last updated 7 September 2026.

These terms govern your use of appline.io and the testing service provided by Appline (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them.

1. What we provide

We recruit and coordinate human testers who opt in to your Google Play closed testing track and use your app on their own Android devices for the testing period described on our pricing page. We provide guidance on Play Console configuration and on the production access application.

2. What we do not provide

We do not guarantee that Google will grant production access. Google makes that decision alone, based on factors including your app’s compliance with its policies, which are outside our control. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You confirm you are the developer of the app, or authorised to act for them.
  • Your app must comply with Google Play’s Developer Programme Policies. We will not test apps containing malware, illegal content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
  • You must keep the closed testing track live and must not remove testers, halt the rollout or delete the track during the testing period. Doing so ends our obligation to deliver the period.
  • You must supply an accurate opt-in link and respond to reasonable requests for information needed to run the test.

4. Fees and payment

The fee is ₹349 per app, payable in advance through our payment processor, Razorpay. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The fee covers one closed testing run for one app.

5. Delivery

This is a service, not a physical product, so nothing is shipped. Testers typically begin opting in within 6 hours of us receiving a working opt-in link. The testing period runs for 16 days from the day the twelfth tester opts in.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to manipulate Google Play ratings or reviews, to generate fraudulent installs, or for any purpose that breaches Google’s policies. We may refuse or terminate service, without refund, where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost users, or delays to your launch.

9. Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in our privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of CONFIRM: city of jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: support@appline.io. Full contact details are on our contact page.

Note for launch: these terms are a working draft written for this business model. Have them reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you take payments, and replace every CONFIRM marker.
